Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich might not currently have a UK visa, but the Russian tycoon is working hard to ensure everything pans out right for the club ahead of next season.

The Chelsea owner is said to have travelled to Italy in order to help agent Fali Ramadani in talks with Serie A champions, Juventus.

Corriere dello Sport claims Juventus chief executive Fabio Paratici met with Chelsea officials on Wednesday with the intention of agreeing a deal worth €100million (£89m) for both Higuain and Rugani.

Sarri has pointed Higuain and Rugani as two transfer deals he wants to boost the Chelsea squad with. This prompted the club to hire Ramadani, who has a close relationship with Juventus, to act as an intermediary between the two clubs and he has succeeded in taking talks to the brink of an agreement.

Abramovich have now flown in to oversee the final details of the deal, with Chelsea hoping to complete the double signing in time for Higuain and Rugani to link up with the team on their pre-season tour of Australia.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
