Sevilla are keen on strengthening their midfield this summer, and reports claim the Spanish club want to sign Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko on at least a loan deal.
Bakayoko moved to Chelsea with great hype for a fee of £40m after a great season at Monaco, but he failed to replicate that form in England, and Chelsea might have to cash in or loan the Frenchman this summer.
Sevilla boss Pablo Machin hoped to have five midfielders by the start of the campaign and there is currently four present, and it’s also expected that Steven N’Zonzi is likely to depart. This has prompted Sevilla to show interest in Bakayoko.
According to a report by Marca, a loan fee of more than 6m euros would be demanded by Chelsea, although Marca understands that Los Rojiblancos would only be able to afford 90 percent of such a fee.
With Jorginho set to sign for the Blues, Bakayoko might not get enough game time under incoming manager Maurizio Sarri.
