After months of rumours, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has now been sacked by the club, with Maurizio Sarri set to be confirmed as the new Chelsea manager.
Conte spent two seasons at Stamford Bridge, guiding the Blues to the Premier League title in his first season in England and the FA Cup in his second season.
But after a second season that saw Chelsea miss out on a Champions League spot and a dismal second half of the season, the Blues have decided to part ways with the Italian.
Conte took charge of Chelsea’s first pre-season training session this week but Sky Italia has now confirmed his exit.
Conte’s sack has already been confirmed by the media, but Chelsea are yet to confirm this until the Sarri deal has been announced.
However, former Chelsea captain John Terry has also posted a message on his Instagram account wishing Conte well for the future, saying: “Great man, Great manager. I wish you every success in the future.”
