Eden Hazard was in impressive form as he helped Belgium beat Costa Rica 4-1 in a friendly game at Brussels on Monday night, ahead of the World Cup in Russia.
Hazard was a constant threat in the game and was involved in two goals as Dries Mertens opened the scoring for Belgium after Costa Rica had taken the lead. Romelu Lukaku scored twice, and Michy Batshuayi grabbed a goal as Belgium breezed past their Central American opponents.
Speaking after the game, Costa Rica boss Oscar Ramirez claimed he didn’t know the forward who grabbed the assist for Mertens’ opener in the 31st minute.
He told reporters: “The 10 did us a lot of damage… I don’t know his name.”
