Former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo, who led Chelsea to a historic Champions League triumph in 2012, wants Antonio Conte to continue as Chelsea boss next season.
Conte’s future as Chelsea boss is in serious doubt after a turbulent campaign on and off the pitch.
“It’s great, I think it’s good (if Conte is still in charge),” Di Matteo told Sky Sports.
“I hope he can stay on as well, I hope he stays. I hope he’s going to be the long-term manager at the club.
“So I think it’s the way forward. But I don’t know really, this is just my opinion.”
