Chelsea youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek joined Crystal Palace on loan during the summer, and the midfielder has been impressive for the Eagles in his year-long stint at Selhurst Park.
The 22-year-old has just returned from a three-month stint on the sidelines after an ankle injury and he scored in the Eagles’ 5-0 rout against Leicester on Saturday.
Loftus-Cheek could make Gareth Southgate’s 23-man squad for this summer’s World Cup having impressed for the Three Lions when called up for an international friendly and the 22-year-old is attracting many suitors who harbour hopes Chelsea may be tempted to sell him.
However, according to the Guardian, Chelsea are unwilling to entertain offers for Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham, and will not sell any this summer.
Loftus-Cheek has improved with added game time while on loan and it’s expected that he will slot into the Chelsea midfield seamlessly next season.
