A very entertaining FA Cup semifinal where Chelsea scored twice in the second-half to send Southampton out of the competition.

See the player ratings from this game below:

Caballero: Made a couple of good saves, but his handling of the ball was also suspect as he nearly cost his team a goal. 6/10

Rudiger: Solid at the back and helped the team keep a clean sheet. 7/10

Cahill: Mature performance from the captain as he led his defence to a clean sheet. 7/10

Azpilicueta: Besides his good defensive showing, he helped the team going forward and whipped in a trademark cross for Morata to score. 7.5/10

Kante: Consistent in his work in the middle of the park, and barely made a mistake. Put in so much energy and hard work in midfield. 8/10

Fabregas: Was involved in the buildup to Chelsea’s opening goal and had a good game. 7/10

Moses: Supported the attack from the right flank and made his presence felt. 7/10

Emerson: Good showing down the left flank; nothing spectacular but he put in a good shift. 6.5/10

Willian: Hit the bar and led Chelsea’s counter attacks with his incredible pace. Was probably the biggest threat on the pitch before his eventual substitution after the hour mark. Had a fantastic game and was unlucky to be sacrificed for Conte’s tactical switch in the second-half. 7.5/10

Hazard: One of the star performers today and caused Southampton’s defence too many problems with his skills. Assisted Giroud for his goal and kept penetrating the Saints’ defence all game long. 8/10

Giroud: Had a powerful performance and then scored a remarkable goal where he went past many Southampton bodies to put Chelsea in front. 8/10

Subs

Bakayako: Came on to shore up the team’s midfield at a time when Southampton were threatening, and his introduction helped balance things out. 6.5/10

Pedro: Brought in energy to Chelsea’s game after replacing Fabregas. 7/10

Morata: Came on for Giroud and scored with his first touch just after 86 seconds of his introduction. Was lively and was a goalscoring threat after coming on. 7.5/10

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
