Chelsea midfielder Ross barkley is set make his first appearance for Chelsea since January at Burnley on Thursday as Chelsea boss Antonio Conte makes changes with Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final in mind, according to Evening Standard.
Barkley has played just 131 minutes since joining from Everton for £15million at the start of the year with the midfielder struggling for fitness.
Conte reportedly wants to give him game time against Burnley although it is more likely he will come off the bench.
Conte is also reportedly considering giving Emerson Palmieri his first Premier League start following his arrival from Roma in January for an initial £17.5m.
Palmieri has played just 105 minutes since joining Chelsea in January.
