It’s a must win game for Antonio Conte’s men as Chelsea host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
It’s a game between a Chelsea side fighting to make it to a Champions League spot and a Crystal Palace side who are struggling to come out of a relegation scrap.
The Eagles last game against Manchester United showed that they won’t be an easy side and Chelsea must be at their best to beat them.
Chelsea’s form haven’t been something to cheer about of late, as the Blues have lost four of their last five league games. Palace were tough nuts to crack for Tottenham and Manchester United in their last two games, but they are also in poor form and have been winless in their last six games.
Chelsea have lost their last two league games against Crystal Palace and the Eagles have also won back-to-back league games at Stamford Bridge.
After a wonderful end to 2017, 2018 has been a bad year for Chelsea as the Blues have won only four of their 15 competitive fixtures in 2018.
Chelsea’s visit to Selhurst Park earlier this season ended in a defeat, and the Blues will need to win this game and hope for slip-ups for Liverpool and Tottenham who will both be away from home this weekend.
