Chelsea forward Willian is in extraordinary form at the moment and has scored four goals in his last three games for Chelsea.
The Brazil international has found himself in and out of the team this season, starting just 14 Premier League games and appearing from the bench nearly as many as 13 times.
He was on song yet again against Manchester United, and was Chelsea’s best player in that game, and former Tottenham star Jermaine Jenas can’t understand why Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has left him on the bench a lot of the times.
“It shocks me, I have to say,” Jenas said on Match of the Day.
“As a player, I think he’d get into any team in the Premier League.
“I’m talking Manchester City, Chelsea obviously, Spurs, you name it. I think he’s that good, I really do.
“You can call it a criticism of Conte, he sees things day in day out on the training pitch. So there might be certain things that we’re not seeing.
“But I have to say, the last few months, he’s been sensational.”
Willian was Conte’s first choice alongside Eden Hazard and Diego Costa in Chelsea’s front three early last season, but he lost his place to Pedro after the death of his mum. Conte has since preferred Pedro to Willian since Pedro’s hot form last season.
