Antonio Conte was fielding questions from the media ahead of today’s FA Cup clash with Hull City, when an Italian journalist tried to prank him.

Conte has had a longstanding rivalry with Jose Mourinho since he became the manager of Chelsea, and just as Conte was speaking, an Italian journalist approached the table and showed the Chelsea manager footage on an iPad which left Conte looking highly unimpressed.

The Chelsea media officer tried to shove the journalist away but to no avail.

As if that wasn’t enough, the reporter then headed back to his chair but returned straight away with a Manchester United home shirt with ‘Antonio Conte 1’ written on the back.

ESPN claim the Italian journalist was Stefano Corti, who works for satirical programme Le Ienehe and the same person who did an Antonio Conte prank on Jose Mourinho last month.

The prankster reporter said: “Antonio, we sent you a messenger – a present for you from your brand new friend, Jose Mourinho.

“He told us he loves you. Look at what he has written on the present he sent out for you: ‘Your friend, Jose’. Can you promise us that next time you play against him you will share a sign of peace? Come on, Antonio…you will be friends forever!

“What do you say, mister?”

Conte replied: “Nothing!”

The reporter then continued: “Then this is a present for you. It is signed by Jose Mourinho…’To my friend Antonio’. Long live friendship…shall I leave it to you?”

Conte sternly replied “No, you can take it with you” shoving it across the desk in distaste at seeing the badge and his name.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
