Antonio Conte is fighting for his Chelsea job at the moment and journalist Duncan Castles claims the Italian will be okay with the sack.
He says Conte knows his time is up at the Blues despite leading the club to the Premier League title last season.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Transfer Window Podcast, Castles said: “Talking to people close to Conte, they are very clear it’s over. It’s just a matter of time.
“They don’t expect him to last until the end of the season and they feel he would be happy to be sacked in the coming weeks.
“And you see the evidence of that in his behaviour and the results on the field.
“You see the evidence of that in the murmerings where the players complaining about his training methods – which were always going to be a problem – and his attitude around the training ground.”
Castles added: “You speak to people close to Conte and they say when things start going wrong for him, he cannot emotionally handle it.
“He comes down hard on the players, he comes down hard on himself.
“He can’t keep a lid and he can’t keep a balance and they were clear going into this season that they saw the differences between Conte and the club being so great there would come a point where results started to go and that was were things would boil over.”
