Despite playing fewer games than Alvaro Morata this season, Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, currently on loan at Dortmund, has now scored more goals than Morata this season.
Batshuayi netted his 13th goal of the season in all competitions during Dortmund’s 2-0 win over Hamburg on Saturday.
Morata has managed 12 goals for the Blues since his £58 million move from Real Madrid last summer.
While Morata scored his 12 goals from 30 appearances in all competitions, Batshuayi has scored 13 goals from 26 appearances in all competitions.
Batshuayi has scored three goals and provided an assist since joining Dortmund on loan on transfer deadline day and Batshuayi is playing with confidence, something that was lacking while he was at Chelsea.
