Although Chelsea have been struggling of late and the game against Barcelona might have been written off as a walkover by many, Chelsea have now been handed a major boost ahead of their Champions League last-16 tie against Barca after Gerard Pique picked up an injury.

The centre-back scored a late equaliser against Espanyol in the Catalan derby on Sunday and despite playing the full 90 minutes, he picked up a knock in that encounter.

According to AS, the injury could keep him sidelined for up to a month – meaning he would miss the clash with Chelsea.

Chelsea host Barcelona on February 20, but Pique is expected to be back for the return leg away at Nou Camp.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.

  1. Commitment is key to success, if there’s a player who is not committed to our cause, whose personal ambition supercede that of the Club, let the player leave..

The player power is really affecting our consistency as a Club,
