Chelsea youngster Mason Mount who’s currently on loan with Vitesse Arnhem in the Dutch League scored the winner for Vitesse in a 2-1 victory at Zwolle on Saturday, and fellow Chelsea loanees Fankaty Dabo and Matt Miazga also started for Vitesse.
Still in the Eredivisie, Marco van Ginkel was in action for PSV Eindhoven in a 2-0 win at FC Twente, a result which moved them eight points clear at the top of the table.
In the FA Cup fourth round, Michael Hector and Ola Aina started at the back for Hull City in their 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest. Jeremie Boga came on for Birmingham City as they drew 1-1 with Huddersfield Town and Ike Ugbo played for MK Dons, who were beaten 1-0 by Coventry City.
In the Championship, Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon both started for Fulham in their 3-1 win against 10-man Barnsley, a result which moves them into the Championship play-off places. The Cottagers scored two goals in stoppage time at the end of the game to take three points against the Bantams, who had defender Dimitri Cavare sent off just before the interval.
