Chelsea’s attack was on fire against Brighton as the Blues scored four past the Seagulls defence, with an Eden Hazard brace and goals from Willian and Victor Moses helping Chelsea to the victory.
Prior to Saturday’s game, Chelsea had only scored three goals in five games and went on a barren draw for three consecutive matches.
Hazard explained that scoring early helped build the team’s confidence.
“When you score early it’s easier because you have confidence from the start of the game. When you see the second goal by Willian, I think it was one of the best of the season because we created movement, one touch, one touch and then the finish was good so we want to do more like this,” the Belgian explained.
“When we play against teams they defend a lot because they know we have quality players and we need to find a solution. When it’s not me it has to be one of the other players. If we are not ready to do that then we are in trouble. That’s why we are working hard in training and trying to do our best.”
