A spirited performance from the Blues to take all three points against Jose Mourinho’s men at Stamford Bridge.

See how the players fared in this game:

Courtois: Didn’t have much to do but made a couple of good saves to keep a clean sheet and help Chelsea get the three points. 7.5/10

Azpilicueta: Was excellent today and one of the best performers. Did a great job in defence and provided the goal for Morata with an excellent cross. Slotted at right wing-back in the latter part of the second-half and still did a good job. 9/10

Christensen: Another big game performance from the Chelsea youngster. Didn’t break a sweat against United attack. Very composed performance. 8/10

Cahill: A captain’s performance as he returned to the left side of the back three. Had a great game. 8/10

Kante: Returned to the Chelsea midfield and showed why he’s the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League. Did what he knows how to do best – steal balls and protect his defence. 9/10

Bakayoko: Missed two glorious chances and lacked a bit of composure in front of goal. But he was a workaholic in the middle of the park. Great energy. 7.5/10

Alonso: Had a good game at the left flank. Was constantly high up providing width for the team. 7.5/10

Zappacosta: Did a good job at right wing-back before being withdrawn in the second-half of the game. 7/10

Fabregas: A very dominant display in midfield from the Spaniard. His passes were excellent and he was involved in just about every good thing Chelsea did today. 9/10

Hazard: We can officially say Hazard is back to form. His twist and turns worried United’s defence all game long, and he constantly threatened before being substituted late in the game. 9/10

Morata: He showed he’s a big game striker with a big game performance. Scored Chelsea’s goal with a brilliant header and was dangerous all through the game. 9/10

Subs

Rudiger: Came on for Zappacosta and slotted in seamlessly into the Chelsea back three. Was solid. 7/10

Drinkwater: Had just 13 minutes against United and he looked comfortable as he slotted in beside N’Golo Kante in midfield. 6.5/10

Willian: Replaced Hazard late in the game.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
