The international break is here and focus has switched from club football to country football for at least the next week.

Chelsea players are well represented in their national team and many are key players for their countries.

See the players who were invited:

Gary Cahill was invited for England’s World Cup qualifiers at home to Slovenia on Thursday and away against Lithuania on Sunday. England just need a point to reach the finals in Russia.

Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi were invited to take part in the World Cup qualifiers away against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Saturday and at home to Cyprus on Tuesday. Roberto Martinez’s side have already qualified for next summer’s finals in Russia.

N’Golo Kante will feature for France in their World Cup qualifiers away to Bulgaria on Saturday and at home to Belarus next Tuesday.

Willian will feature for Brazil in their World Cup qualifiers away to Bolivia on Thursday and at home against Chile next Tuesday. The five-time World Cup-winners have already secured their place in Russia and were the first team to do so.

For Spain, Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro were invited for their World Cup qualifiers at home to Albania on Friday and away to Israel next Monday. Spain are three points clear at the top of their group and guaranteed at least a play-off place.

Andreas Christensen off the back of an impressive display against Manchester City was invited to feature for Denmark in the World Cup qualifiers away to Montenegro on Thursday and at home to Romania on Sunday. The Danes are currently level with Montenegro in second place, with an identical goal difference and having won the same number of matches. They are three points behind leaders Poland.

Toni Rudiger was invited to feature for Germany in the World Cup qualifiers away against Northern Ireland on Thursday and at home to Azerbaijan on Sunday.

Victor Moses and Ola Aina who’s on loan to Hull City are in the Nigeria’s squad for their World Cup qualifier at home to Zambia on Saturday. The Super Eagles need just a point to qualify for the finals.

Alvaro Morata was also called up but has since withdrawn through injury.

Summer signing Davide Zappacosta was invited to feature for Italy in the World Cup qualifiers at home to Macedonia on Friday and away to Albania next Monday. Italy are currently second in the group, three points behind leaders Spain. They will be guaranteed at least second place with one draw from their remaining two games.

Marco van Ginkel was invited for Holland’s World Cup qualifiers away to Belarus on Saturday and at home to Sweden next Tuesday.

Croatia invited Mario Pasalic for their World Cup qualifiers at home to Finland on Friday and away to Ukraine next Monday.

And for Ethan Ampadu, the youngster was invited for Wales’ World Cup qualifiers away against Georgia on Friday and at home to Republic of Ireland next Monday. Wales are second in the group, four points behind leaders Serbia and one ahead of third-placed Republic of Ireland.

Czech Republic’s Tomas Kalas was invited for their World Cup qualifiers away to Azerbaijan on Thursday and at home to San Marino on Sunday.
