David Luiz’s red card against Arsenal is Chelsea’s third red card in the Premier League this season in just five games.

Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas saw red against Burnley in Chelsea’s first league game of the season.

Speaking after Chelsea goalless draw against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, Chelsea captain Gary Cahill revealed David Luiz feels referee Michael Oliver should have stopped play for a foul on him by Alexis Sanchez before his red card.

“I didn’t see the red card properly but David Luiz thought he was fouled beforehand,” Cahill said on the incident.

  1. I sleep and wake up with chelsea on my mind the Sky is Blue and blue is the blood……

  2. Three red cards after only 5 games is gross indiscipline. That is 0.6 red cards per game. Should we expect 22 send offs/red cards in the 38 games? Come on Chelsea, we can do better. BLUES 4 LIFE.

the entire Chelsea players have to be very careful for all these EPL so call referees. Because no EPL referees like Chelsea at all.they a;ways wish Chelsea a downfall.

  4. David Luiz should be cautioned. He should have been able to avoid the red card.
