Chelsea defeated Leicester City 2-1 on their home soil today and besides getting the three points, Chelsea also ended a bad September record.

Prior to this game, Chelsea had not won a Premier League away fixture in the month of September in any of the last four seasons. But Antonio Conte’s men put that aside after a strong performance at the King Power.

With four minutes to the end of the first-half  Chelsea were one up via an Alvaro Morata header and five minutes after the restart, the Blues made it 2-0.

Jamie Vardy pulled one back for the home side from the penalty spot, but Chelsea still carried the day and thus ending that bad run of away games that happens almost every September.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it’s a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I’d rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
