Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore has officially left the club as he has now signed a five-year contract with French giants Lyon.
Lyon seemed confident of signing Traore and they eventually did, and now Bournemouth seem confident of signing another young Chelsea player, Nathan Ake.
Ake enjoyed an excellent loan spell at Bournemouth last season, but was recalled to Stamford Bridge in January to become part of Antonio Conte’s squad, after injury fears threatened Chelsea’s title charge.
Ake played only 98 minutes of Premier League football and made only seven appearances in all competitions for Chelsea last season and has now been linked with a move to Bournemouth on a permanent deal.
The Cherries seem confident they can land Ake and are prepared to sign the 22-year-old for a fee of £20m.
Losing Ake will be another huge blow as the Dutch international has already shown his potential in the few games he played for Chelsea.
