Diego Costa scored some crucial goals for Chelsea last season, as the Blues went on to lift the Premier League title for the second time in three years.
The Spain international scored 20 goals for the Blues and was a key figure in Chelsea’s road to becoming champions. However, the 28-year-old wasn’t without controversy, as he pushed for an exit in January after a bust up with the Chelsea coach.
Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola has admitted that Costa has quality but is hard to handle sometimes.
“He’s a huge player, capable of doing everything,” the Chelsea icon told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“But it’s true that he’s quite complicated to manage.”
Costa is set to leave Chelsea this summer and when pressed on a possible replacement for Costa, Zola tipped Torino star Andrea Belotti. He said of the Torino striker: “He will have to adapt to the requirements of English football, but he has great technical qualities.
“I think he could go on and do great things in England.”
