Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is reportedly a target for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte ahead of the summer transfer window. Conte tried to sign the Spaniard last summer but had an offer rejected by Real Madrid and with Morata failing to get game time at Real Madrid, Conte is expected to try again for the striker this summer.
However, a report by Daily Telegraph claims Chelsea’s interest in Morata has cooled off as Conte has two targets who are reportedly ahead of Morata in his transfer shortlist.
According to the report, Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez are Conte’s key targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
23-year-old Lukaku has been impressive this season and the Belgian striker leads the Premier League goalscoring charts with 24 goals.
Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez is expected to leave Arsenal at the end of the season as he would have just one-year left to run in his contract.
