Chelsea have been blessed this season, as we haven’t lost any player through any serious injury since the start of the season.
Eden Hazard and David Luiz have been playing with minor injuries for a while now.
The Evening Standard claims that the Hazard suffered a knock during the 3-0 win at Leicester City on January 14 and has still not shaken it off. While David Luiz has been in discomfort since he suffered a horror tackle from Sergio Aguero.
The Brazilian even revealed after the game against Liverpool that he hasn’t been training for free-kicks because of the injury.
He said: “I’ve been feeling my knee for some time, I’ve been playing a bit impaired, but it’s all part of football.”
“It’s ok, we’ll treat it now and rest for Saturday’s game.”
However, both players should be available for selection for Saturday’s clash with Arsenal and has trained with the squad as normal.
