Ex-Chelsea midfielder Oscar moved to the Chinese Super League this month for a fee of £60 million.

The 25-year-old Brazilian will reportedly earn around £400,000 a week playing in China.

Oscar admits the deal to move to China suits him, Chelsea and the Chinese Super League.

“The transfer was good for me, for Chelsea and for Shanghai,” Oscar told Sky Sports.

“I’m so happy to come to the Chinese league.

“The Chinese clubs put a lot of money for the players to go to China and make the league more strong.

“They offered me and I was very happy to come.”
