Loic Remy who’s on loan to Crystal Palace has been away from action since the start of the season due to injury, but the Chelsea loanee played his first game for Crystal Palace this season in their goalless draw with Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup.

The Frenchman who has been sidelined with injury for much of his time at Selhurst Park started the game, and in an impressive debut, he was unlucky not to give the Eagles the lead when he hit the post before being taken off at half-time.

Tammy Abraham started up front for Bristol City who were held to a goalless draw at home to Fleetwood Town. Last Monday, the striker bagged a brace to give the Robins a 2-0 lead against Reading in the Championship, although the Royals battled back to win 3-2.

Kasey Palmer was on the scoresheet for Huddersfield Town as they progressed to the fourth round with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Port Vale. Izzy Brown and Palmer are now teammates at Huddersfield, as Brown has completed his loan deal at Rotherham and has now joined Huddersfield on loan. He was drafted straight into the starting line-up for the Cup tie against the Valiants.

Jamal Blackman was back in goal for Wycombe Wanderers as they hosted Stourbridge in the FA Cup, a game they had to struggle to win 2-1 late in the game.

Football resumed in Serie A, this weekend with Mario Pasalic playing the 79 minutes of AC Milan’s 1-0 home win over Cagliari. The Rossoneri are in fifth.

In Spain, Jeremie Boga started Granada’s 5-0 loss at Real Madrid, coming off after 66 minutes.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it’s a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I’d rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
