After 13 wins in a row, Chelsea succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane, and it was an insipid performance from Antonio Conte’s men.

See how the players fared:

Courtois: A good save from Vertonghen in the 39th minute, and then fell to two headed goals from Dele Alli, after his defence let him down. 6/10

Azpilicueta: Was not the ever-solid defender we’ve come to know. He made a couple of mistakes at the back, and he’d take a share of the blame for Dele Alli’s goals. 5/10

Luiz: Was sloppy with his passing tonight, and never looked assured at the back. 5/10

Cahill: Definitely not a commendable performance from the captain. The defence was shaky tonight. 5/10

Moses: Wasn’t good enough when defending against Alli’s goals. Didn’t do enough going forward either. 5/10

Alonso: Didn’t make any blunder of note, but he went in too early for the ball before the delivery that led to Alli’s second goal. Was average at best. 5/10

Kante: Since the loss to Arsenal, I’ve never seen Kante look so ordinary. He was bossed by Wanyama in midfield and was guilty of so many misplaced passes. 5/10

Matic: A delightful pass for Eden Hazard early in first half could have changed things, had Hazard found the back of the net. Was okay but nothing spectacular other than that pass. 6/10

Pedro: He tried to work hard for the team, but it just wasn’t his night. He was poor tonight. 5/10

Hazard: Was anonymous for large spells of the game, although he looked threatening on one or two occasions. 5/10

Costa: Wasn’t his usual lively self, but he showed a glimpse of what he could do. Lacked service from the midfield. 6/10

Substitutes

Willian: Came on for Alonso, with 25 minutes left to play. Didn’t have any effect on the game.

Fabregas: Replaced Kante on the 79th minute, and had little time to do his magic

Batshuayi: Replaced Moses with just 5 minutes left.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
