While other leagues have been on break, there have been so many games in various divisions across the English league, and some of our loan players have been part of the busy festive schedule.

After being ineligible to play against Chelsea, Nathan Ake returned to the starting XI for Bournemouth, and he helped the Cherries keep a clean sheet and ease to a 3-0 victory at struggling Swansea.

After enduring a goal drought, Tammy Abraham netted his 15th goal of the campaign, and his second in as many games. He equalised for Bristol City against Ipswich Town on Friday, but Ipswich eventually won the game 2-1.

Also in the Championship, Izzy Brown played the full game for bottom-side Rotherham who also lost 2-1, at home to fellow strugglers Burton Albion on Thursday night.

Kasey Palmer and Huddersfield  played a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield on Sunday night, and the midfielder was substituted just on the hour mark.

In League Two, Alex Kiwomya played 81 minutes for Crewe Alexandra who lost 1-0 at home to Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
