Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed that the feelings of watching other teams win trophies while his team doesn’t, hurts him the most.

In an interview with SFR Sport, where William Gallas was the interviewer, Terry said: “You miss that feeling of being the champions, being the best, and nothing can ever, ever replace that.”

Terry adds: “When you see another team, whether that be Man United, Man City, Liverpool, whoever it is, Arsenal, lift the trophy at the end, I can’t even watch it. It hurts.

“This is why I want to still carry on playing, because that hunger is still there to be the best, to win trophies for my football club.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
