Radja Nainggolan was one of the players heavily linked with Chelsea during the summer, but he opted to stay put in Roma.
However, his contract situation with the club has made him unhappy, according to reports and Chelsea are reportedly monitoring the situation.
The 28-year-old was supposed to be given a new, lucrative contract extension, which was part of the deal to keep him in Rome, and so far, the Giallorossi have yet to deliver. This has made the Belgian unhappy coupled with some disappointing results and a lack of UEFA Champions League football.
Nainggolan has played most of his professional football in Italy, and it was a factor which made him choose not to move his family to a new country. However, with his unhappiness in Rome, Chelsea are monitoring the situation, according to Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad.
