Chelsea defender David Luiz has been an outcast in the Brazilian national team since March 2016, following a poor performance in the 2-2 draw to Uruguay when Dunga was still manager.
Dunga’s replacement, Tite has also failed to call David Luiz to join the Seleção on international duty. However, Tite is now willing to scout the flamboyant Brazilian ahead of the World Cup in 2018.
According to UOL Esporte, Tite will be flying over to Europe to follow some Brazilian players this week, and he wants to watch the Chelsea centre-back play.
The Brazil boss will start his tour at the Camp Nou next weekend to see the highly anticipated ‘El Clasico’ derby between Barcelona and Real Madrid, before a visit to England and then other parts of Europe.
Luiz has been in amazing form for Chelsea this season, and will be looking to get back into the national team.
