It was tough, it was hard, our clean sheet streak ended today, but Chelsea came from behind to secure all 3 points in this London derby match, and ended Spurs unbeaten streak.

Let’s see how the players fared:

Courtois: Couldn’t do much about Christian Eriksen’s stunning strike in the 11th minute. Wasn’t tested much after that, but dealt with the little that came his way. 7/10

Azpilicueta: Had a good game today, and worked hard on the right side of the defence. Nullified the threats of Harry Kane a number of times. 7/10

Luiz: Minus his needless yellow card in the first half, Luiz did well in today’s derby game and won a number of aerial balls in defence and helped kept a solid defence. 7/10

Cahill: Good work from the captain in the defence today, and helped protect his goal post from Tottenham’s attacking threats. 7/10

Kante: After Chelsea’s midfield was hassled in the first 40 minutes of the game, the Frenchman showed why he’s highly rated with so many tackles and interceptions, and his passing was good as well. 7/10

Matic: Although he lost the ball on two occasions that could have caused Chelsea harm, the Serbian continued his impressive partnership with Kante in the middle of the park. 6/10

Moses: Yet another man of the match performance from Victor Moses. He covered a lot of grounds to come from deep and score the winning goal. Was a useful outlet on the right flank for Chelsea. 8/10

Alonso: Missed a sitter that could have extended Chelsea’s lead, 3 minutes after Moses’ goal, and also whooped in a good cross for Costa on the 74th minute. Had a decent game. 6/10

Pedro: Worked tirelessly for the team today even when we were a goal down, and his amazing strike just before the end of the first half was stunning, and it helped kick-start Chelsea’s resurgence in the game. 8/10

Hazard: Was kicked and fouled a number of times today, but he wasn’t at his usual best against Spurs. In all, he had some moments that still worried Spurs on some occasions. 6/10

Costa: He didn’t really get a chance to add to his tally of 10 goals, but he was very hardworking for his team, and did well to assist Moses for the winner. 7/10

Subs:

Willian: Came on for Hazard with 13 minutes left to play, but he didn’t do enough to deserve a start in the next game against Manchester City. Took a needless yellow card in the 85th minute. 5/10

Ivanovic: Came on for Moses on the 80th minute to help solidify Chelsea’s lead, and was caught out on one occasion by the pace of  Nkoudou towards the end of the game. 5/10

Oscar: Came on for Pedro in the 83rd minute, and he worked tirelessly in the middle to help Chelsea keep the lead. 6/10
