Chelsea youngsters continued their development in their various clubs, and 3 Blues youngsters were on the scoresheet for their clubs.

Nathan Ake scored the only goal of the game as he headed in from a corner kick to defeat Stoke City and earn Bournemouth a first Premier League away win of the season. He had previously played only 13 minutes of top-flight football for the Cherries ahead of the visit to Stoke, which has prompted Chelsea to react angrily and plan to withdraw the 21-year-old back in January.

Lewis Baker was also on the scoresheet on Saturday and it was another special effort by the Vitesse midfielder as he took his tally for the season to eight. After netting in both of England Under-21s’ recent matches, Baker controlled a cross with his left foot and then used his right to loft the ball over the keeper from a tight angle for a 1-0 lead. However, Vitesse were fortunate to come away with a 1-1 draw. Nathan also started for Vitesse but he managed only 35 minutes.

Burkina Faso international Bertrand Traore scored the fourth goal for Ajax as they beat NEC Nijmegen 5-0.

In the Championship in England, Tammy Abraham was unable to prevent Bristol City falling to a 1-0 defeat at Birmingham City which extended their winless league run to three matches.

Kasey Palmer claimed an assist for Huddersfield Town, but they were beaten 3-2 by Cardiff City. Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon started for Fulham as they snatched a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw at home to Sheffield Wednesday. Piazon was replaced after 55 minutes.

Izzy Brown was a 62nd minute substitute for Rotherham in a 3-0 reverse at Derby County which leaves them bottom of the Championship and with only one win to their name.

In League One, Jake Clarke-Salter played the full match and Charlie Colkett 53 minutes as Bristol Rovers kept a clean sheet in a goalless draw against managerless MK Dons.

In the Bundesliga, Baba Rahman was a stoppage-time substitute for Schalke in a 1-0 win at Wolfsburg, which extended their unbeaten run to six matches.

Andreas Christensen just returned from injury, but was powerless to prevent his side from losing 2-1 to Cologne.

In Spain, Jeremie Boga played the full match as bottom-club Granada recorded a credible 1-1 draw at Valencia. Charly Musonda was a late substitute for Real Betis in their 2-0 win over Las Palmas.

In Italy, Mario Pasalic came on after 88 minutes of the Milan derby on Sunday but his side, AC Milan conceded a goal late in added time to end the scores at 2-2.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
