Recent reports have it that Chelsea ready to reignite their interest in Roma duo Radja Nainggolan and Kostas Manolas.
Chelsea tried to lure the pair to Stamford Bridge last season, but weren’t successful, especially in the pursuit of Radja Nainggolan.
According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are said to have “annoyed” the duo due to their apparent resistance to improve their contracts. In the piece, it’s stated that Nainggolan was promised a pay rise by the club after agreeing a contract until 2020, while the Giallorossi are reportedly unwilling to match Manolas’ annual wage demands of €3 million (£2.58 million) that would be part of a new deal.
Personally, I don’t see Chelsea going back for Nainggolan, and his new contract which he signed with the club will even make him more expensive.
