Cesc Fabregas has been away since the last international break, and has not played a single game since the 3-0 loss to Arsenal, back in September.

The Spanish midfielder, who has only started one league game for Chelsea this season, will be fully fit to play against Middlesbrough this weekend. However, it’s unlikely Conte would give the 29-year-old a run.

He has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea, and with Matic and Kante forming a strong partnership in the middle of the park, Fabregas will only be in line to start on the bench.

Already, the former Barcelona star has been linked with an exit away from the club.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
