Chelsea youth team defeated Leicester youth team 2-0 at Cobham on Saturday. The win ensured that Chelsea’s unbeaten run at home stretch to 19 months.
Although the first half ended goalless, a second-half brace from Martell Taylor-Crossdale ensured Chelsea won the game by 2 goals.
After an impressive build up, Taylor-Crossdale was on hand to tap in the rebound, just 8 minutes after the restart.
Taylor-Crossdale capitalised on a loose ball in midfield before driving forward and placed the ball into the bottom far corner with just 7 minutes to full-time.
The young Blues return to action next Friday 4 November with a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.
